    Game Server Administration log

    All admins who make a change to the gaming servers should post here, publicly, in this thread with a quick description of what change was made. This is an experiment, but we should see pretty soon if this will serve well enough or if we need to come up with something else.

    #3 Areana: Team Size increased

    Server #1

    Fixed the line sv_visiblemaxplayers in server.cfg

    set sv_visiblemaxplayers 25 so it matched all our other servers.

    What this does is hide the last slot so that the server doesn't get spammed w/ people trying to connect to the last spot, preventing reserved slot members from connecting. This also adds to server stability.

    Servers #1, #2, #4, #5: AFK manager changes
    Servers #1, #4, and #5 now have the following AFK manager settings:
    Min players before activation: 1
    Time to move to spec: 2 minutes
    Additional time once moved to spec before kick: 6 minutes

    Server #2 now has the following AFK manager settings:
    Min players before activation: 22
    Time to move to spec: 4 minutes
    Additional time once moved to spec before kick: 6 minutes

    Server #1 - The following changes were put into effect on Friday (6/19)

    - changed the mapcycle to run the following rotation:
    pl_goldrush
    pl_badwater
    pl_goldrush
    pl_badwater
    pl_hoodoo_final


    - changed the adminmenu_maplist.ini to contain the following:
    (this file is used for admin menu map change, votemap, rtv, and end of round autovotes)
    pl_goldrush
    pl_badwater
    pl_hoodoo_final
    pl_swift
    pl_dbheights

    Servers #6 and #7

    Config files have been added to facilitate using these servers for the 3v3 and future tournaments. These cfgs can only be executed by a Full Admin or a Senior Admin.

    To start Tournament Mode:
    Go to the admin menu under 2.Server Commands->2.Exec CFG->6.Tournament Mode On

    To end Tournament Mode:
    Go to the admin menu under 2.Server Commands->2.Exec CFG->7.Tournament Mode Off

    Uploaded plugin to server #7 for Shenanigan's (6/26) to Blind players on spawn.
    This was a last resort if no admins were to show up or admins did not have powers to use blind.

    Limestone Main Game Server Box:

    Tha administrator password for the Interro Game Server has been changed. All admins have been emailed this password.

    Also a .NET 3.5 Security update was installed on the server as well. No reboot required.

    #2 2fort: Wednesday evening, MONDO installed Jazzysax's biu.smx plugin (Block Intelligence Unassigned) on 2fort, thus preventing any further use of the join-unassigned-while-holding-intel exploit on that server.
