And in between every movie, we watched some little videos like Half Life: Full Life Consequences and such.

And then we all chilled in the VIP Lounge portion of the map and we make some funny ragdoll poses by turning outselves into ragdolls! Kuckles has most of those, but I have a few to show, along with some movie shots

The only problem is, I'm not too sure what exactly I want to upgrade. First of all, I am definitely going to get an SSD because well I want one. SSD aside, that leaves me with a little over 200 dollars for another upgrade, and here's what I'm considering:
  • Extra HDD
  • CPU Upgrade (Athlon II X4 to Phenom II X4)
  • GPU Upgrade (Radeon HD6850 to Dual Radeon HD6850s running in Crossfire)
  • Second Monitor
I'm also expecting another cash inflow of about 350 which would put me at around 550 (650-700 with the SSD) total so I'm definitely looking at a rather moderate upgrade, which will include a new case and power supply. I didn't get a demo because at first I didn't see anything worth recording, but then the player switched to sniper and pulled off some pretty oddball shots, but would still frequently miss. This happened on server 2 between 5:30 and 5:45 est.

While you're recording, it's really annoying when they die, because you have to go find them again. Here's how you can make that easier:


If their name is easy to type and has no spaces, you can spec them by name. Otherwise, you'll need to figure out their slot number:

1. Find their slot number using the "status" command:

Unfortunately, the "userid" is not their slot number. But, the names listed are in order, so Interrocam is in slot #1, iatecereal is in slot #2, etc. In a long list, at worst you'd have to count down to the 24th slot.

(HINT: If you're an admin, you can use the sm_who command instead of status. sm_who shows their slot numbers)

Two of the players would be easy to spec by name, but that dude in slot 4 above would have to be identified by his slot number.

2. pick an unused key, and bind it to the spec_player command: (i use the i key)

3. Go watch! Each time the player dies, just keep pressing your key and as soon as they've respawned, you'll instantly switch to their view.

Once you have the footage you need, stop your demo:
