  • Capt. Obvious

    Captain Obvious' Bio

His real name is CLASSIFIED - TOP SECRET(SCI), so don't you worry about that. He's currently working as a Medic for the United States Air Force. He is stationed at Langley AFB, In Virginia, and been in the service for about 3 years now. Originally from a small podunk town in West Michigan near Grand Rapids. Before his time in the Air Force, he was working for a General Motors subsidiary called Delphi (which is in Coopersville, the podunk town that he's from) and going to college part-time for Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement. Unfortunately, Michigan's economy took a nosedive and that's how he ended up where he is today.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend!

Captain Obvious started playing TF2 as a very Un-Stealthy Spy in 2007, and hasn't looked back. He's been part of the team since before Team Interrobang even existed (way back when it was The 352nd Infantry, for those who are newer), and he does in fact own a mic. But, odds are good you will never hear him using it. This is because he prefers not to have his neighbors thinking he sits indoors shouting obscenities and taunting his computer.

You can occasionally find him wearing the Magistrate's Mullet (George Washington Spy), or the Noble Amassment of Hats with the Camera Beard (Abraham Lincoln Spy). Occasionally he runs into a Spying wall and bust out other classes like Heavy, Scout, or Engie. But if he does you'll most likely see him playing the class in an non-standard way. Also, should he and Captain Charisma be on the same team, they get x2 awesomeness multiplier for the amount of Captains that are on a team.

Can you find the Obvious spy?

    • While Captain Obvious can be clearly identified as a spy on the battlefield, most players on the opposing team disregard the danger he poses.
    • Captain Obvious does not sneak around as a spy.
    • His obviousness is so great, he is overlooked and roams throughout the enemy base.
    • 9 out of 10 doctors recommend him for your daily spying needs.
